Position Title: Stone Specialist Schedule: 7:00AM

5:30PM Monday

Friday Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt - Direct Department: Production/Manufacturing Reports to: Production Supervisor Overview: The Stone Specialist is a multi-skilled production expert responsible for operating equipment, mixing and applying tints, batching and managing material flow, monitoring quality, and supporting full-line manufacturing processes. This role demands accuracy, mechanical aptitude, communication, and physical strength while emphasizing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Mix colors using recipes for small and large format pour lines Apply tints accurately to molds using brushes or sprayers; memorize formulas and recognize color patterns Read and follow batch plant instructions, dispatch orders, and mix designs Operate batching systems efficiently, ensuring correct and timely concrete loads Perform pour and demold operations and monitor mold fill consistency Communicate clearly with production teams including Batch Operators and Line Leads Maintain batching and auger equipment through cleaning, greasing, repairs, and troubleshooting. Recognize base changes and avoid contamination of mixes Conduct quality control testing and inspection of finished products Operate and monitor production line machinery and support systems Keep work areas clean and organized to reduce downtime Maintain accurate production records and time logs Utilize computerized tools, batching, dispatch, and QC software Actively participate in safety meetings and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures Understand and meet production goals and performance expectations Proactively raise concerns affecting safety, quality, or efficiency Collaborate cross-functional and demonstrate a professional, inclusive workplace attitude Qualifications

Requirements: Experience: 6 months to 2 years of manufacturing or batching experience preferred Skills: Ability to read and follow written, verbal, and numeric instructions Strong mechanical aptitude; basic computer proficiency Ability to read mix designs and use measuring tools accurately Knowledge of preventive maintenance, lock-out/tag-out, and material flow Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork Capacity to remain focused in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Basic math proficiency, including fractions and decimals Willingness to learn, take initiative, and promote continuous improvement Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret technical drawings, and convey ideas and feedback clearly. Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, design iterations, and production constraints, while maintaining a high level of quality and craftsmanship. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Working Conditions: Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment (60110F). Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, and pull throughout shift. Lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly, including above shoulder height and below waist. Regularly work on concrete flooring and around loud machinery. Must climb ladders and access elevated equipment as required. Safety: Follow all safety protocols in accordance with our Health and Safety Manuals. Wear and maintain appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Respirator, Gloves, Apron, Arm Guards, Hard Hat). Perform Stop Work Authority if unsafe conditions arise. Comply with OSHA and internal safety and environmental regulations.
