Digital Imaging Records Coordinator
To lead the daily Digital Imaging Records Coordinator shift operations. Responsible for training, evaluating and interviewing of corresponding shift clerical staff. Leads shift operations to maintain accurate clerical systems and records to ensure compliance and patient safety. Fully understands and utilizes the Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS). Has a proficient understanding of all pertinent systems. Maintains high degree of customer satisfaction and is the department records liaison with all Imaging technical areas. Works closely with the physicians regarding all operational needs within the job scope. Responsible for records for the patients, physicians, and clinical staff. Qualifications:
Degrees: High School Diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: Experience in film library/medical records preferred. Must be proficient in applications such as Microsoft Office, Net Access, Imaging RIS, and PACS and must be knowledgeable about HIPAA. Medical terminology required. Must be self-directed with excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal and customer service skills. Requires strong organizational skills with detail orientation. Minimum Required Experience: 3 EOE, including disability/vets
