The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible Open Rank (Assistant, Associate, Professor) faculty member to join a team of experienced general and transplant hepatology Gastroenterology physicians at the University Medical Center. The incumbent will have a commitment to clinical care, trainee and student education, and scholarly activity. The incumbent will be expected to manage patients in clinic, perform routine endoscopic procedures, attend on the inpatient hepatology consult GI service, participate in ongoing clinical research, and assist with teaching of fellows and residents. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree and must be ABIM board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology by the appointment start date.
