Director Of Ad Management System And Xumo Identity Platform

Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast's global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible. The Director of the Ad Management System (AMS) and Xumo Identity Platform (XIP) will provide strategic direction, lead development, and ensure operational excellence of our AMS platform. This role involves managing a distributed team across the USA and offshore, driving innovation, and ensuring effective cloud system management to meet business and client needs. Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

: Develop and execute the AMS and XIP strategic roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends. Define and prioritize AMS and XIP development initiatives, ensuring alignment with product and business goals. AMS Platform Development and Operations

: Oversee AMS and XIP development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring high availability and scalability. Directly manage cloud system operations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. Data and Analytics Management

: Drive data-driven insights and reporting to optimize ad performance. Ensure data integrity and reliability, implementing data governance. Team Leadership and Management

: Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and budgets across multiple locations, including cultural differences. Lead and mentor a distributed team (USA & offshore), fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management and Communication

: Serve as the primary point of contact for AMS matters, communicating effectively with stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with product managers, sales teams, and clients. Position is office based in Irvine, CA - 4 days/week & 1 day/week remote.
