Programming And Outreach Position
The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity is seeking applicants for a part-time job of Programming and Outreach. Job duties to include: Assist in the planning, coordination, and preparation of Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity signature events and programs. Planning, scheduling, and facilitating Late Night in the Center events focusing on student engagement and success. Work with other units/offices to create programs and materials that further the work of the Center in support of students. Preparing workshop materials Staffing information tables throughout the year Assisting with general office support such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors positively and professionally. Periodic staffing of The Clothing Transit Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies: Full-Time undergraduate student at University Park May require evenings or weekend hours for programming 15 hours per week Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $14.00. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
