Food Manufacturing Our client is seeking a Sensory Lab Technician to join their food-manufacturing team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is responsible for conducting sensory panels from review and scheduling to final report writing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Schedule & Compensation: MondayFriday, first-shift hours Lab is located in Cincinnati OH 45202 $20 - $24/hr, depending on experience Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and weekly pay structure Key Responsibilities: Learn and master the G.O. sensory database. Manage all aspects of sensory panels, including screeners, invitations, ballots, and reports. Adhere to safe food handling practices in the lab. Prepare paperwork, computer data, panel supplies, and final reports for taste panels accurately and promptly. Ensure the sanitary preparation and maintenance of the panel area before, during, and after evaluations. Assist the Corporate Food Technology sensory team with external panels. Demonstrate physical capabilities such as standing throughout shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in fluctuating temperatures (e.g., freezers, ovens). Follow established programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards for food safety and quality. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Food Science or a related scientific field. Associate degree in a scientific discipline with relevant food manufacturing experience. Previous sensory experience with food/flavors is required, including taste testing.
