Safety Analysis / Fault Tree / Functional Hazard Assessment Fleet Risk assessments / Weibull analysis Reliability Test Program Development and Execution Failure Modes Effects Analysis Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigation Reliability allocations, predictions, and assessments Develop maintainability program / procedures Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience in safety / reliability principles Experience in conducting system safety analysis including fault tree creation, system hazard analysis, FMEA and FMECA generation, reliability disciplines, and failure investigations Knowledge and practice using MIL-STD-882, DI-SAFT-80102, and/or SAE ARP4761 Familiarity with MIL-STD-1629, DI-SESS-81495, SAE ARP5580 (SAE ARP4754), and/or ASTM F3230 Construction of fault analysis per SAE ARP926 or similar Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of turbomachinery failure modes Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles Ability to assess system designs for maintainability and develop work instructions Knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and associated manufacturing techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient using of Microsoft Office tools U.S. citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
