VP - Treasury Management
Onsite (Encinitas, CA) Job Summary: The VP, Treasury Management, leads the Treasury Management Support team, ensuring smooth client onboarding and delivery of tailored cash and treasury solutions. This role stays current on industry trends and clients need to inform product enhancements and strategy. The position collaborates with leadership on product development, oversees risk, fraud, and compliance management, and coaches the team to ensure consistently high-quality customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Oversight of all Treasury Management setups with accuracy and proper documentation. Proactively leads assigned team members in accomplishing established individual and departmental goals Provide proactive leadership to team members in meeting departmental and individual goals Serve as subject matter expert for Treasury Management products (e.g., Wires, ACH, RDC, Positive Pay) Demonstrate expertise in payment processing (USD/FX wires, ACH, P2P, B2B) Oversee and conduct annual service reviews for ACH, Wire, and RDC Support training and cross-training initiatives across the department Troubleshoot technical and operational Treasury system issues Provide customer support for all Treasury Management products and services, including ACH Origination, Remote Deposit, Business Online Banking Wires, etc. Analyze client cash operations to develop and present tailored Treasury solutions Collaborate with relationship managers and independently identify Treasury sales opportunities Support audits, regulatory exams, and product risk assessments Maintain deep knowledge of Treasury services, onboarding, risk policies, and industry best practices Identify and implement process improvements and risk mitigation strategies Stay informed on risks related to online banking and payment processing Additional Responsibilities Manage the account analysis proforma pricing process. Proactively address client issues and concerns to ensure satisfaction. Continuously enhance and streamline processes and recommend opportunities to improve the client experience and offerings. Exercise sound judgment in balancing customer service with risk management. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, bank policies, and procedures. Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients. Complete all assigned training by designated deadlines. Embrace and reflect C3bank's mission in day-to-day interactions. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills Strong knowledge of Treasury Management services (ACH, Wires, RDC) and general banking operations Proficient in treasury platforms; Fiserv experience preferred Well-versed in online banking operations and fraud prevention Committed to high customer service standards and a collaborative team culture Effective leader with strong organizational and time management abilities In-depth understanding of BSA/AML, OFAC, and CIP regulations, with consistent policy compliance Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of related experience required Supervisory experience is a must Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience required Treasury Management Certification preferred (CTP or AAP) Fiserv product experience preferred Physical Demands & Work Environment: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
