The VMI Tailor shop is seeking candidates for a full-time Tailor. The Tailor shop provides alterations and repairs to the Corp of Cadets. Job duties include: Support the Tailor Shop by altering/repairing cadet uniforms. Perform routine maintenance on machines. Keep accurate account of daily work for later reference, to include use of IPAD. Provide customer service to cadets and faculty with uniform questions. Minimum Qualifications
Sewing, alterations, and textile work Oral and written communication skills Ability to work with others as a team iPad/computer skills Additional Considerations
Basic sewing skills preferred; however, we are willing to train the proper candidate. Basic computer skills. Special Instructions
