Local Route (Peru, IL)
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our operations in Peru, IL. This is a local driving position with daily home time, ideal for a driver who enjoys a mix of driving, hands-on work, and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities Complete 48 short-haul trips daily (approx. 1 mile each) to a primary customer in Peru, IL Occasionally handle one-off shipments to other customer locations Unload trailers at the customer site independently Take inventory multiple times per week and report findings to the plant Operate a Chevy pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer (over 10,000 lbs) Obtain customer-specific training and certification as required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean driving record and strong safety mindset Ability to lift, move, and unload freight as needed Comfortable with inventory tracking and basic reporting Willingness to complete customer-specific training and certification One Year of Verifiable Driving Experience What We Offer Competitive pay - $26 an hour Consistent schedule with daily home time Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the company Medical insurance Health savings account with company contribution Dental insurance Vision insurance Basic and voluntary life insurance Disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid vacation and holidays The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
