Starting Compensation:

Role:
Under the supervision of a Mental Health Program Director, this Program Coordinator provides leadership and supervision for the MI-C Family Case Management team. This team provides mental health services for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and their families. This full-time position directly supervises five therapists/case managers and three support staff while advancing and promoting staff implementation of evidence-based practices and program guidelines. The Program Coordinator promotes the development of staff skills by offering both clinical guidance and administrative support. They assist in hiring new staff to ensure that the program is staffed with qualified professionals, promote smooth operation of the program through daily supervision of staff and resources, and provide oversight of the front-desk support staff team to ensure efficient and welcoming service delivery. This Program Coordinator works with the supervisory team to assign cases, approves and authorizes initial plans of service and service delivery, oversees all program activities, and monitors for positive outcomes. As determined by program need, this Program Coordinator also provides clinical, direct-care services to youth and their families.

Job Specific Requirements:
Valid Michigan driver's license required. Some evening hours required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Social work, Psychology, or Counseling required with Michigan Licensure as LMSW, LLP, or LPC. Minimum of three years of child/adolescent mental health experience. Effective teaming & strong collaboration skills required. Supervisory experience preferred.
