Production Worker

The Production Worker is under the direction of the shift supervisor and will primarily be responsible to independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances using established production procedures, following safety protocol and adhering to the company's quality standards. Essential Functions

Safety Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations Utilize proper PPE at all times Quality Responsible to produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed Compliance to ISO 9001 Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents Communicate with internally concerning deviations or general request Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices Environmental Verify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations Complete reports as necessary internally Primary Production Responsibilities Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed Installation of: i. Plugs ii. Capseals iii. Rings iv. Other parts or materials as specified Utilize various hand tools, including but not limited to air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate speed with production flow Demonstrate acceptable level of capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc. Follow direction and product required quantities Other Duties Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition Attend all required meetings and trainings Perform all other duties as required or requested Qualifications Education/Experience and/or Training High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in industrial manufacturing environment Problem-Solving Skills Offer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc. Verbal Communication Skills Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management Written Communication Skills Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly Math Skills Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios Computer Skills Internal manufacturing systems Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Troubleshoot problems and report issues Must work well in a team environment Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
