The Technology HR team is looking for a Sr. Manager, HRBP to work across our Technology organization that spans engineering, product, data science, machine learning and AI. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong relationship building, influencing, communication, and problem solving skills; who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and values-oriented team. Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, diversity & inclusion) to effectively develop and execute on people strategy Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs Consult senior leaders on building and designing world class organizations Reinforce our high performance culture through our leadership development, reward, and talent development programs Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital Ones Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, performance concerns Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within [client group] and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work) Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At least 5 years of client facing experience OR at least 5 years of consulting experience OR a combination At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or military experience MBA or Masters degree Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification 7+ years of client facing experience or 7+ years of consulting experience or a combination 7+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting in a HR Business Partner capacity 2+ years of experience in Organizational Design At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
