Compassionate Home Care Aide Needed

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide in-home care and support for an individual with disabilities. This is a full-time/part-time position offering the opportunity to help someone maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own home. Key Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Support with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment Provide medication reminders and administration as needed Prepare meals accommodating dietary needs and restrictions Light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean living environment Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, and community activities Offer companionship and encourage social interaction Assist with communication and advocacy when needed Support participation in therapeutic activities and exercises Monitor health status and communicate changes to healthcare team Maintain detailed care logs and documentation Respect client's autonomy and encourage maximum independence Qualifications & Requirements: Required: High school diploma or equivalent Previous caregiving experience preferred CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift to stabilize for transfers and perform physical tasks Excellent communication skills Patient, kind, and empathetic personality Background check and references required Preferred: CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP certification Experience working with individuals with disabilities Knowledge of disability rights and person-centered care principles Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology Training in de-escalation techniques What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Flexible scheduling options Paid training and continuing education opportunities Health benefits (for full-time positions) Paid time off Supportive work environment Opportunity for professional growth Schedule: Day Shift needed With some weekends a plus How to Apply: Please send your resume along with a brief cover letter explaining why you're passionate about caregiving to recruiter.si@comforcare.com.
