Build ecommerce technology roadmap using HCL Commerce and cloud infrastructure Provide technical support and program modifications, including report and form development Render both standard and customized programming as needed Maintain working knowledge of advancing technologies relating to web-based interface systems Identify application solutions and implement with existing networks, when appropriate Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using a strong understanding of HCL Commerce, SOLR, Elastic Search, J2EE, React, NodeJS & Cloud technologies. Strong ability to socialize technical solutions and design tradeoffs effectively to business stakeholders Partner with various business and technical stakeholders to define a robust eCommerce roadmap and technical strategy Conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming Design of new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product Conduct research into application development issues and products Ensure current coding standards and development adheres to latest security and compliance standards Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, or related technical field. Excellent written and oral communication skills 3+ years of experience in
Developing customer facing web applications Software development Web Sphere Commerce 7.x / 8.x / 9.x
Expert in all stages of Software Development Lifecycle Strong problem-solving skills Working knowledge of:
Java, Struts, Spring, Junit, XML, XSLT, JSP, Javascript, jQuery, React, NodeJS, Ajax, CSS, Hibernate, SQL Search technologies like Solr & Elastic Search On-prem, hybrid and cloud infrastructure Web services technologies (SOAP and RESTful) HCL Commerce development experience.
Experienced in Struts and Spring frameworks Expert in Object-oriented programming concepts Excellent verbal and written communications skills and being a team player Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week
