Job Location: Foster City CA 94404 Duration: Long-term contract Pay Rate: $60.00 - $65.00 hourly rate on W2 PMO Documentation Lead & Technical Writer The Program Manager Office (PMO) is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to lead documentation efforts and contribute to the success of various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a focus on creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for diverse audiences. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software products, including user manuals, technical specifications, and API documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure documentation aligns with project goals. Review and edit technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Provide training and support to end-users and internal stakeholders on software products and documentation. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of software development processes and technical writing principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
