The Department of Geosciences is searching for a qualified candidate for the position of Research Assistant for Planetary Prebiotic Chemistry for data reduction and manuscript preparation. This position is for chemical studies, NMR interpretation, chemical modeling, and manuscript preparation related to prebiotic reactions on bodies in the Solar System including Mars as well as the outer solar system moons. The work is primarily data reduction, interpretation, modeling, and manuscript preparation. Job duties to include: NMR analyses and interpretation Data interpretation Manuscript preparation and editing Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
