Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is currently seeking applicants for adjunct instructors to teach a variety of Nursing courses to include classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. To assist with the credentialing process, please indicate on your application or resume whether each position held is/was a full-time or part-time position. Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia are required. A minimum of two (2) years of full-time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five (5) years. Additional Considerations: Master's degree in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of recent teaching experience in a nursing program; and a demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both the didactic and clinical settings, including course development, student assessment, and course evaluations are also preferred. Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities; and in curriculum development, use of multi-media teaching strategies, and test construction. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a diverse student and faculty population.
