The position also requires shared coverage for standby and call-back emergency studies on evenings and weekends, which may include rotation through other Portland facilities.What we offer•Flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and on-call positions•A collaborative and mission-driven environment that values your expertise•Opportunities to work with advanced cardiac imaging technologies and complex casesWhat you will do•Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment as ordered by physicians•Identify and document the presence or absence of disease using in-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology•Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography, trans-catheter echo-guided procedures, pericardiocentesis, myocardial biopsies, contrast-enhanced exams, and stress echocardiography•Adapt procedures to meet patient needs and provide clinically valuable results in a cost-effective manner•Adhere to the standards of the American Society of Echocardiography and departmental policiesWhat you bring•Oregon Sonographer license upon hire•National certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)•Current BLS certification through the American Heart AssociationPreferred qualifications include an associate degree in applied science from a CAAHPE-accredited school, one year of experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound exams, pediatric echocardiography experience, and familiarity with imaging support for advanced heart failure patients and echo-guided trans-catheter procedures.Be part of a team that combines advanced technology with compassionate care.
