Title: NSUAD079- Adjunct Faculty of Geography State Role Title: Instructor Hiring Range: Commensurate with Credentials and Experience Pay Band: UG Agency: Norfolk State University Location: Norfolk State University Job Duties Teach an on-campus undergraduate course entitled "Principles of Geography" Engage in exemplary face-to-face and use the university's learning management system (Blackboard Ultra) Collegially engage with students, staff, and other faculty members Meet university deadlines for submitting grades and other reports Minimum Qualifications Must possess a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geography or Geographical Sciences with at least 18 c.h. hours in Geography Demonstrate a strong potential to effectively teach Geography Demonstrate potential to effectively use an online learning management system. (Blackboard Ultra or similar) Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity Additional Considerations Experience teaching Geography courses in higher education Possess a PhD in Geography Special Instructions You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or rsum is submitted successfully.
