1. High School diploma or equivalent. 3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications
1. Four (4) years of healthcare experience and nursing service experience. Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. 1. Provides direct care for patients including, but not limited to, personal hygiene, elimination, catheter care, vital signs, and skin care and mobility activities. Documents according to procedure. 2. Reinforces belongings policy with patients and families, documents appropriately, and secures them according to procedure. 3. Provides nutritional support assisting with feedings as needed. Documents I&O and weight as required. 4. Performs selected and therapeutic procedures as outlined in competency and skills check list. 5. Cooperates with members of the healthcare team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain good employee, inter-departmental and public relations. 6. Sets up equipment for and/or assists physicians/clinicians with treatments, dressings, tests, etc., as assigned. 7. Performs 12 lead EKG. Documents patient information on EKG sheet. Gives EKG promptly to appropriate nurse or physician. About MelroseWakefield Hospital
