Reporting to the Senior Manager, New Segments Strategy (EP), the Senior Strategist will be a key contributor to the development of strategies for continued business growth and expansion. While working with Business Development, Clinical, R&D and Marketing, the role will focus primarily on identifying strategies and recommendations to enter new, adjacent market segments. The role requires a mix of business acumen and judgment, fact-based decision making, and the ability to quickly grasp technologies and investment options. The candidate will gain experience influencing and executing strategy through business case development and action plans with high exposure to senior leadership in Electrophysiology. Your responsibilities will include: Develop a deep understanding of the Electrophysiology division's franchises, portfolio, markets, and strategic plan as a basis for future opportunity identification. Lead assessments of new market adjacencies and emerging technologies via coordination of cross-functional teams. Provide comprehensive deliverables with clear conclusions and definitive recommendations for next steps. Contribute to developing a fact base of current and future adjacent market dynamics, competitive landscape, key business trends and market conditions through market research, clinical literature, coordination with divisional teams, and interaction with key customers. Support the development and maintenance of new market and revenue models, informed through input from internal stakeholders, market trends, and the execution of market research as required. Support Business Development in M&A and VC due diligence activities with competitive landscaping, analytic assessments, and strategic market research. In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Required Qualifications: BS or BA degree in applicable field including coursework in Finance, Marketing, and Strategy. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or consulting for healthcare clients. Demonstrated experience as either a leader or key contributor in execution of cross-functional strategy projects to successful completion. Demonstrated experience with complex financial modeling, including market, revenue, and investment models. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required. An organized and motivated self-starter with the capacity to work individually and as part of a team effort. Ability to travel up to 20% Preferred Qualifications: MBA is preferred Medical Device experience preferred Electrophysiology Device experience highly preferred Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy.
