Powder Coat Technician
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to join their team. As a Powder Coat Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting high-quality manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a willingness to adapt, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: North Charleston, SC Pay Range: 23 Shift: 6am-2:30 What's the Job? Set up and spray powder on steel parts per required colors and MIL thickness. Communicate with production leads to ensure smooth operations. Test parts for color, cure, thickness, and other quality-related checks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with standards. What's Needed? Ability to read and interpret 2D prints and work instructions. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a powder coat shop utilizing manual spray applications. Ability to use MIL thickness measurement instruments. Capability to set parameters and operate oven controls per work instructions. Excellent time management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What's in it for me?
