Quality Assurance Tester - Advanced

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester - Advanced to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on transforming Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex, change-driven environments and are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through technology and innovation. This MMIS modernization effort is a major transformation involving cultural, process, and technological shifts. The initiative supports a transition from a fee-for-service model to a managed care approach, emphasizing improved health outcomes. The strategy aligns with national trends in MMIS innovation and promotes a forward-thinking mindset in healthcare technology. Key Responsibilities

Develop test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT) processes, and test cases for product and software development teams. Maintain traceability from test cases to requirements and software components throughout the SDLC. Conduct user interface and regression testing. Test software applications for reliability, stability, and usability, including negative testing. Design and execute automated testing scripts. Participate in defect triage, retesting, and resolution. Create and maintain quality assurance documentation and reports. Adhere to and recommend improvements for established testing governance policies and best practices. Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections in accordance with governance standards. Required Skills

5+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios. 5+ years building test cases and scenarios in test systems. 3+ years of deep knowledge in healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes. 3+ years of experience communicating and publishing status reports on open issues and gaps during the testing phase. 3+ years of hands-on experience with formal test design tools. Education
