The Pharmacist is the medication expert, with activities primarily involving the provision of pharmaceutical care to associates, patients and the public. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist performs and/or oversees all accountabilities associated with compounding, dispensing and clinical monitoring of medications for patients. Demonstrate efficient use of time by minimizing the amount of orders put on hold and delegating tasks to students and technicians whenever possible and appropriate. Assure that a complete review of patient specific parameters is conducted prior to initiating a new medication. Appropriately document all performed clinical interventions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
