Most of our clients live in Simsbury, Granby, Canton, Avon and surrounding towns. Benefits include: Shift differential will be paid for weekend hourly and/or shifts shorter than 4 hours Paid training Simple IRA Paid time off Direct deposit/ bi-weekly pay Free continuing education Time and a half pay for working any of 9 major holidays Flexible schedule One-on-one care Working for a family-owned company We do not mandate our employees to be vaccinated. However, many of our clients are requesting Covid vaccinated employees. What you'll be doing: Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes. Provide assistance with personal care. Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises. Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding. Properly manage household needs. Provide companionship and respite services for the family. What we're looking for: A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible. A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification would be preferred Hoyer lift experience is a plus A negative TB skin test or chest x-ray is required Drivers license with insured and reliable automobile (preferred) Dementia/ Hospice including end-of-life experience a plus A minimum of one year of documented experience required Pass a drug test and background check Each office is independently owned and operated.
