Job Skills Coach

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, reliable team player that can add value to our Training Department. The Job Skills Coach will be responsible for supporting and serving as backup in all other departments, safely building high quality homes to specification, while exceeding the facility's key production targets and maintaining a strong company culture. The Job Skills Coach must also work in an efficient manner while maintaining a safe, and organized work area. Duties / Responsibilities:

Responsible for training new team members to perform their tasks ensuring performance meets all safety, quality, and production standards outlined for the job. Responsible for facilitating the training program as designed including utilizing training material, recording observations and providing daily/weekly feedback to new team members. Responsible for providing daily feedback to the production leadership team on new team member's job skills performance. Responsible for evaluating new team members' performance in partnership with department managers. Responsible for instructing team members while on-the-job and off the production line as needed using a tell, show, do, review format. Ensures new team members know how to safely use required tools and wears PPE continually while on the production floor. Assists in the documentation and creation of processes, SOPs, and building methods used throughout the facility. Responsible for providing on-the-job coaching to ensure new team members use proper home building techniques. Establish necessary urgency and set adequate production pace to meet required production schedules. Trains new team members on cleanliness of work area according to documented procedures. Motivate and encourage new team members to meet performance objectives. Ensures that new team members have all the resources needed to complete their job. Helps to find answers to new team member questions. Responsible for being a "Culture Guide" helping new team members adjust to culture of the facility, introduce them to other team members and ensure they have the best chance of success. Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn, grow, and gain understanding as a leader in our organization. Promote company culture, teamwork, quality goals, and adherence to all safety guidelines. Assist other departments as needed by productions schedule. Performs other duties as assigned by TMX/Production Managers/EHS Manager Must wear personal protective equipment while in production. Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Be able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual (Spanish) Must be able to read, write and speak. High School diploma or equivalent (GED), required. Must be available to work overtime and weekends to meet production schedules. Have ability to communicate clearly and openly. Be able to explain processes and procedures in a way that makes complicated tasks easier. Analytical skills, ability to solve problems and/or offer alternative solutions. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge / Experience within the Manufactured Homes or Construction Industry. Experience with power tools and hand tools (Nail Guns, Utility Knife, Ladders, Saws, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary:

$26 Per Hour Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling. Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others. Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures. Work primarily involves standing, up to 4 hours at a time. Travel Requirements:
