Your Responsibilities Include Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging for necessary diagnostic tests, and devising customized treatment strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, either in collaboration with attending physicians or independently according to your qualifications Informing patients and their families about preventive measures, health maintenance, and chronic disease management Prescribing medicines and therapies as permitted within your professional scope Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Accurately documenting medical records using electronic systems Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or any applicable equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Attributes That Make You Shine
