Tooling Process Owner

Howmet Aerospace, Engines is now seeking a Tooling Process Owner! This position will be located in Whitehall, Michigan, across our Plants 1, 3, and 10 - Whitehall Casting Operation. This position will support the manufacture of core, wax and casting tooling through best practices, tooling assessment, process control and improvement initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Ensuring that the tooling processes are performed in compliance with the methods, materials and equipment specifications as detailed in the Business Unit manual, business operating procedures, and customer requirements. Fostering continuous improvement of tooling design and manufacturing to reduce variation and improve capability. Contributing to the development of corporate best practices for tooling design and construction. Responsible for determining the root cause of any deviation from critical process specifications or downstream product specifications and providing technical support to resolve tooling related issues.
