The primary objective of this position is to provide internal and external support for all quality initiatives. This position is responsible for suggesting, establishing, and maintaining quality standards, testing and inspection, and the rejection of all sub-standard products in a safe manner. This position coordinates any action involving customer claims for inferior or defective product, which has been installed or shipped. Job Responsibilities: Comply with all safety and plant requirements individually and hold other team members to the same high standards of safety Support the TPM process through Daily Management and participating on AM area or Pillar Teams as required. Support plant maintenance and operations teams in system and equipment troubleshooting and in technology transfer Perform root cause analysis in partnership with key stakeholders to address quality issues, implementing sustainable corrective actions for process shifts or upsets Analyze product and process data to optimize performance. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices with the goals being enhanced safety, enhanced functionality, and improved efficiency Identifying and requesting capital funding for equipment, modifications, etc. Participates in the safety, quality, autonomous maintenance, TPM, 5's and housekeeping programs as established within the plant Develop and maintain master samples for granuales and shingles for production lines Customer Response Center main contact. Record and maintain log of calls and validate claims on monthly report Complete lab test for warehouse audts, lab testing as directed by Granville, and raw material testing Investigate roof claims, conduct inspections as needed to resolve claims, coordinate roof sampling and record and report findings Communicate quality issues to plant personnel Develop and coordinalte LPA's Assist with managing QM Pillar with Technical Leader Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot Quality equipment related to quality of product in production Coordinate plant trials of new products, raw materials or product enhancements Develop SPC charts to include lab and production measurements Conduct training, annual lab certification and provides necessary feedback Maintain lab inventories order as needed to keep lab supplies stocked Participate in customers visits, and conduct contractor training Leads Continuous Improvement Activities: Leverages standard work to minimize variation and waste Leads Focused Improvement activities to improve process capability and efficiencies, reduce costs, and eliminate waste Partners with relevant stakeholders to optimize process and drive continuous improvement initiatives Participates in and leads Kaizen and 5S events in various work areas throughout plant Job Requirements Education and Experience

BA degree in Engineering preferred. Three or more years of manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Understand verbal and written instructions. Perform basic mathematical calculations. Operate necessary software to successfully perform job responsibilities. Log into and navigate Talent Center and accomplish required online training routinely. Think under pressure and make quick decisions to identify solutions. Work well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to learn the responsibilities of this position. Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Wear required PPE equipment (safety glasses, bump cap, steel toe boots, ear protection, heat/cut resistant gloves, long sleeve shirt, and face mask). Able to shovel wet sand. Climb and descend stairs. Lift, push, and pull 50lbs repetitively. Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Computer and Software Competencies

Must be able to operate a computer. Log into and navigate Owens Corning University (OCU) and accomplish required online training routinely. A proficiency in the following computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Access data entry and SAP Additional Requirements

Complete all annual safety and role specific training, as required by the nature of this position. Must pass all required assessments
