Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. The college is supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia; the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Botetourt (northern portion) and Rockbridge; the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, and Lexington; and the town of Clifton Forge. On-site and distance learning options incorporate up-to-date technologies. MGCC is accepting applications for part-time Electrical Instructors. In this role, you will teach electrical concepts aligned with the NCCER Curriculum for Electrical Levels 1-4, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to earn NCCER credentials and advance toward their journeyman's license. While formal certifications are important, we also highly value hands-on trade experience and the ability to obtain NCCER instructor credentials for electrical Levels 1 through 4. If candidates meet these criteria and are interested in further advancing their teaching credentials, we encourage all qualified applicants to submit an application to this opening.
