The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member with training in neuropsychology to join our expanding clinical and research enterprises. Successful candidates will have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology/neuropsychology and will be BC/BE in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Candidates will also have completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience. Position responsibilities include: Clinical: Primary clinical responsibilities include care of patients in outpatient settings. Teaching: The faculty member will teach medical students, neurology residents, and neurology fellows. Research: The Division of Child Neurology is engaged in clinical and translation research projects. The faculty member will be expected to participate in, and when appropriate lead, clinical research and clinical trials. Service: Faculty member will serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field, e.g. reviewer, conference organizer, etc. Required qualifications include: PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology/neuropsychology BC/BE in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology Completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
