What you'll be doing: Assist with the activities of daily living to help clients stay independent and in their own homes Provide assistance with personal care Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding Properly manage household needs Provide companionship and respite services for the family Engaging in meaningful activities Listening to exciting stories Help build confidence in seniors What we're looking for: A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible. High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Access to reliable transportation. Experience caring for our beloved veterans. A high regard for elders. Previous experience as a home caregiver with clients living with dementia. CA Home Care Aide registration. Ability to work in Berkeley and Oakland. Good health and a positive spirit. Ability to read, speak and understand English.
