Work assigned schedule, schedule is typically Monday-Friday (daytime hours), with weekends as needed. At times it may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays Responsibilities: Provide assistance to SSM's, ASL's and other associates by organizing, managing, and cleaning backroom spaces and fixture storage areas. Communicate with associates (SSM / Merchandisers) before transporting freight/fixtures to the various departments/offsite warehouse Coordinate scheduling with Leadership, SSM's or merchandisers for builds/moves/large shipments Coordinate with the receiving team to maintain a high level of organization in the freight room and drop zone Plan for large seasonal shipment in addition to maintaining the flow of freight all year Assist customers and salespeople with retrieving and loading purchased product Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas, including offsite warehouses. Organizing, categorizing and transporting freight and fixtures to and from the warehouse Address and maintain the sold area. Work with ASL to determine a reasonable solution for any S&P product that is 7+ days beyond pick up date Be knowledgeable of all equipment and tools and how to use them properly Assist in the removal of snow and debris from walkways, rooftops and landscaping around the building Updating warehouse inventory Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work
Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
