Quality Inspector Monday - Friday | 11pm - 7am Reach out to us for more information: 423-242-0062 Job Responsibilities - QA Inspector: Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, vision systems etc. Discard or reject products, material, and equipment not meeting specifications. Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions. Able to record inspection data in EXCEL. Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results. Work closely with manufacturing personnel on product evaluation. Perform lot sampling (visual inspection) on finished product. Perform periodic in-line inspections of finished product. Write quality procedures as needed. Implement and confirm quality systems for traceability and documentation. Enforce GMP implementation and compliance. Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree required. 1 to 3 years or experience in the related field. Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work - developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work. Communication skills - providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person. Use and understanding of computer interfaced equipment.
