Come join our team! At Homewatch CareGivers of Malden, we are looking for kind and compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home care. We have an immediate opening for PCAs, HHAs and CNAs in Medford. If you live in surrounding areas of Cambridge, Somerville, and Medford MA this opportunity could be just right for you. This position is for someone with 3+ years of experience. Open shifts are 9 am-1pm /9am-3pm and 5pm-9pm. Weekday and weekend shifts are available. There are opportunities to pick up more hours if desired but the ability to work the shifts consistently each week is required. This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home including: Assistance with light daily chores & activities Assistance with ADLs Personal care Client conversation and engagement Our new Care smart phone app helps to keep track of our client care plans, changes in ADL status and outcomes. You can use our Care App on your smart phone to keep track of your work schedule, shift responsibilities, communicate with the office and family, and much more. You have the opportunity to grow your skill set by learning new things using our on-line Homewatch CareGivers University. Additional flexible hours available Very competitive pay Advancement opportunity and team leadership positions Online Training programs include 12 hours of paid annual coursework On-going CEU's available to maintain certification eligibility Referral bonuses provided for exceptional caregiver recruits Paid holidays Provide routine individualized care to the client Provide patient personal care, companionship and meaningful engagement Monitor and report changes in patient health status Perform light housekeeping including laundry and tidy patient's room/ living area Document care provided Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held 3+ Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team Must be available to work a minimum of 2 weekend shifts a month Must be kind and compassionate with a professional and friendly attitude Must possess a valid driver's license or photo ID
