Maintenance Technician
GE Aerospace at our Terre Haute facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. This role is essential to keeping our production running efficiently and effectively. You will work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times. Evaluate quality problems that inhibit the process with an effective solution. Maintain records and perform related duties in assigned department. Cooperative in meeting schedules and customer satisfaction. Display teamwork attitude towards others in department and facility. Maintain satisfactory attendance and work reasonable amount of overtime as needed. Focus on safety aspect of job. Required Qualifications: 1+ year(s) industrial experience with the following: 480v 3-phase motors, transformers, variable frequency drives, PLCs (Siemens and Fanuc preferred), safety relays and safety circuits, power supplies, motor control centers. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot motors and electronics, specifically using the following: electrical multimeter, Megger tester, and amp probe. Demonstrated ability to read electrical / wiring diagrams and machine mechanical diagrams. Industrial experience with complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Demonstrated ability to read and understand PLC ladder logic. Experience with operating or troubleshooting CNC controllers. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ year(s) industrial experience with the following: 480v 3-phase motors, transformers, variable frequency drives, PLCs (Siemens and Fanuc preferred), safety relays and safety circuits, power supplies, motor control centers. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot motors and electronics, specifically using the following: electrical multimeter, Megger tester, and amp probe. Demonstrated ability to read electrical / wiring diagrams and machine mechanical diagrams. Industrial experience with complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Demonstrated ability to read and understand PLC ladder logic. Experience with operating or troubleshooting CNC controllers. Education: High School diploma/ GED
