The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking to hire a part-time Graduate Assistant Researcher in Materials Science and Engineering. Job duties to include: Assist in the development of two-dimensional materials for applications in quantum photonics and sensing Synthesizing two-dimensional materials Characterizing their structural and optical properties Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies: Interest and training in chemical vapor deposition Materials characterization techniques including atomic force microscopy and Raman/photoluminescence spectroscopy 40 hours per week Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $25.65/hour Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
