Sunrise Services, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Community Mental Health Clinic. This role is full-time.

This position will complete administrative and clinical tasks to support prescribers and mental health clinicians.

Candidates must be willing to work at both the Everett and Mountlake Terrace office locations. *Mileage reimbursement is provided.

General Responsibilities:

Work with clients of Sunrise Community Mental Health, performing clinical and administrative tasks in support of prescribers and mental health clinicians.

Essential Functions:

(Tasks, Responsibilities, and Competencies. May not include all duties of this job) Prior to appointments, collect client data such as initial demographic and health related data. Collect bio-medical information from clients such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, etc. Administer injectable medications to assigned clients. Complete authorization and reauthorization requests to insurance entities for prescribed medications. Update charts and files for clients on a consistent and regular basis including the documentation of all client data, bio-medical information, medications, etc. Ensure that all health records are maintained as privileged and confidential information pursuant to Sunrise policy, governmental regulations, and industry best practices. Allow confidential records to only be inspected by or transferred to authorized persons. Give instructions to clients as instructed by ARNP's and Medical Director. Ensure that all related reports, labs and information on file are available in client's medical records prior to their appointment. Keep medical rooms stocked with adequate supplies, as required. Take telephone messages, and provide feedback and answers to clients, ARNP's and Medical Director. Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Essential Requirements:

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Clinical and administrative skills are required. Mental Health experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current Washington State Medical Assistant certification. Other Considerations:

DSHS background clearance required. Excellent communication skills. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and medical records software. Attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Knowledge of medical terminology. Sit or stand for extended periods of time, perform light lifting (approximately 10-20 pounds), and physically assist unsteady clients.

Compensation: $25.00-28.14/hr Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
