Job Summary: SCA is seeking experienced CDL A drivers with an air brake endorsement. The driver will operate a tractor trailer end dump; self-load using a front-loading backhoe and a front self-loading dump truck and provide daily load estimates to landfills along with estimated travel times.

6 AM to 2:30 PM Rate of Pay:
$24 to $26 per hour, based on experience Starting and ending shift location Carson, CA.
WHAT WE DO?
Our power sweeping solutions include sweeping parking lots, streets, and highways as well as construction, industrial, and special event sites. Our fleet uses the latest mechanical broom sweepers and regenerative air vacuum trucks. In addition to being the leader in professional power sweeping, SCA also provides state-of-the-art jet-vac services where we can perform collection, system preventive maintenance cleaning, and identify infrastructure issues before they occur.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a semi-truck and trailer (end dump) using a front-end bucket loader Operate a front self-loading dump truck Transport debris within Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties Track debris weight at each pickup location Scale and log debris prior to disposal Complete electronic pre- and post-trip Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) Notify landfill of load estimates and estimated delivery times No overnight layovers required Job Requirements:
CDL Class A license required Clean Driving record DOT Medical Card Requires work performed in outdoor environments/exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions. Exposure to noise, vibrations, jarring, fumes grease oil & chemicals. Active, physical work involving occasionally; lifting (50+ lbs.), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching; walking, standing, and driving and operating equipment for extended periods of time. Requires focus adjustment, depth perception, clear close & distant vision. Use of ear, eye, and other safety equipment. Requires regular use of hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
