VCUarts Adjunct Instructor - Kinetic Imaging
The Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts (VCUarts) Department of Kinetic Imaging is establishing a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions. The pool of applicants could be drawn upon to provide temporary staffing when needed; to provide special teaching expertise when needed; and/or to meet special programmatic needs not otherwise provided for within the program. This pool will only be assessed when an adjunct opportunity arises, which could include teaching a course(s) in any of the areas of study offered by the Department of Kinetic Imaging - video art, 2D and 3D animation, sound design, and emerging media (projection mapping, programming, physical computing, motion capture, gaming, VR, etc). If an opportunity becomes available, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Adjunct faculty are expected to be enthusiastic ambassadors for the Department of Kinetic Imaging and have a desire to work with a student population in a collaborative and learning-centered community of other adjunct instructors, students, and faculty. Each agency within the Commonwealth of Virginia is dedicated to recruiting, supporting, and maintaining a competent and diverse work force. Equal Opportunity Employer
