https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/benefits/ Responsibilities Serve as a Clinical Psychologist Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) for the Clinic and Behavioral Health System of Care (BHSOC) Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) program. Make mental health diagnoses per DSM standards. Provide individual and group treatments, including brief problem-focused interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychoeducational classes. Assess acute mental health and behavioral conditions. Document patient care according to SOPs and regulations. Maintain professional conduct and compliance with standards. Assess and treat individuals with chronic medical and behavioral health issues. Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations and outpatient group classes. Provide interventions for conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, pain, diabetes, and weight management. Participate in quality assurance activities. Consult with physicians and healthcare professionals. Provide feedback and education to clinic staff. Use behavioral outcome measures to evaluate progress. Collaborate with primary care providers to set treatment priorities, educate staff, and review care appropriateness. Establish cooperative agreements across the Military Treatment Facility. Monitor community resource utilization. Generate reports and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Deliver evidence-based individual treatments and psychoeducational classes. Consult with primary care and specialty providers. Support high-risk patients, including those with suicidal ideation, trauma history, or substance use disorders. Manage treatment goals, review modalities, and develop treatment protocols. Implement performance initiatives, revise clinical standards, and perform quality management duties to meet accreditation standards. Monitor clinical records, risk management, and environment of care. Improve clinical productivity and increase patient access through process improvements. Evaluate program outcomes and modify procedures accordingly. Provide consultation on outcome measures and screening tools. Coordinate professional development activities and training. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications US Citizens only. Must meet education and experience requirements, including: Doctoral Degree (PhD or equivalent) in clinical psychology. One year of specialized experience in psychological evaluations, treatment planning, and counseling (equivalent to GS-12 level). Active, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology in the U.S. (must submit proof with application). Foreign education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency. Details at
