Software Engineering Manager $200,000 - £220,000 + Stock options + Healthcare + Unlimited PTO + 401(k) Remote – New York Are you a hands-on engineering leader with experience scaling high-performing teams and systems with a passion for building cutting-edge AI products in the consumer space? Incredible opportunity to join a fast-growing AI & Fashion technology start-up where you’ll lead a team of talented engineers across backend, mobile, and web. Reporting directly to the CEO and involvement across the product, you’ll be shaping technical direction and driving execution from day one. Founded five years ago, this venture-backed AI company is preparing to launch a groundbreaking product that merges machine learning, fashion, and camera-based technology to transform the way people shop. With major partnerships, top-tier investors, and A-list celebrities on the board, this company is set to disrupt the retail landscape. As Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading architecture decisions, scaling infrastructure, implementing best practices, and mentoring a distributed team. You’ll work cross-functionally with ML, product, and design to ship impactful features at speed. The Role Lead and grow a cross-functional team of software engineers (web, mobile, backend) Define technical vision and drive scalable system architecture decisions Own delivery of high-quality product features across the full stack Partner with Product, Design, and ML teams to scope, prioritize, and execute Implement engineering processes to boost velocity and maintain code quality Support hiring, onboarding, and career growth across the engineering org The Person Strong experience in technical leadership or management roles Background in full-stack development and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.) Strong track record scaling consumer or B2B products in startup environments Deep familiarity with CI/CD, code review, testing, and agile delivery Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Located in New York If this sounds like you, make sure you apply today!
