Job Description
As a Program Manager here at Paladin Technologies, you will have the autonomy to build, mold, and innovate while leveraging best practices. Working with leading, proven, and reliable technologies, you will be positioned for program management and developing a cross-regional team to provide project management and technical expertise supporting business development activities across North America.
The Program Manager will support projects across multiple branches of Paladin Organization, including estimating, project management, field operations, and leadership for select Enterprise accounts. The role requires ongoing education and training in technical competencies (AV, Cabling, Security, Emerging Technologies, etc.) and leadership skills.
Your top priority is to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, while delivering first-class project and service programs. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, scope, and deliver complex integrated security systems and structured cabling infrastructure.
Specific Accountabilities
Act as a Business Manager for the assigned portfolio. Oversee project budgets and schedules, serving as the liaison between Paladin, client stakeholders, and project teams. Manage project activities within the assigned portfolio. Ensure adherence to Enterprise Project Management standards. Support selected projects directly as directed by leadership. Participate in bid reviews and revisions, ensuring team sponsorship of estimates. Supervise, manage, and mentor employees in the workflow. Provide training and skill development opportunities. Assist estimators, engineers, project managers, and other employees as needed. Contribute knowledge and experience to the team. Support clients professionally in all communications. As the program expands, additional PMs may be hired and trained under the Program Manager. General Accountabilities
Pursue ongoing training and increase competencies in relevant sub-disciplines. Maintain industry certifications like RCDD, CTS, CSPM, RTPM, PMP, etc. Improve proficiency with software tools such as Dynamics 365, MS Office, MS Teams, MS Projects. Self-manage duties to high standards of quality and professionalism. Develop superior communication and soft skills such as approachability, emotional maturity, and interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications
Experience as a Project or Program Manager in security, low voltage, or related industry. Experience with open-platform security solutions (access control, intrusion, video management). Skills in project planning, risk, cost, and schedule management, with KPI reporting. Adaptability, flexibility, and strong negotiation skills. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities. Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing circumstances. Qualifications
Post-secondary education in engineering technology or related fields. Experience managing multiple large projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Sales, estimating, or design experience is a plus. Physical Demands
Effective communication skills, manual dexterity for occasional physical tasks. Work Environment
Office environment with low to moderate noise; site visits may be required, including outdoor and indoor conditions. Travel estimated at 10-20%.
