RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architect in Jacksonville, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise-wide IT architecture. This role is critical in aligning our technology landscape with long-term business goals, ensuring scalability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise systems, business strategy, and architectural best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architect will analyze and understand the company's high-level business strategy over the next 3-5 years Evaluate the current enterprise IT architecture, including all systems, interfaces, and internal/external integrations Identify architectural gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities in relation to future business needs Recommend solutions (build vs. buy) to address identified gaps and enhance architectural integrity Develop a comprehensive 3-year IT roadmap that supports strategic business objectives, including: High-level timelines and milestones; Key dependencies and risks; Budget estimates and potential cost savings; Alternative solution options Collaborate with IT executive leadership to present phased proposals, gather feedback, and refine the roadmap Deliver final roadmap presentations to executive stakeholders for approval and alignment As an Enterprise Architect, you will ensure all architectural decisions and designs comply with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory requirements Design with scalability, supportability, and cost control in mind to support long-term growth
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar strategic IT leadership role Experience developing multi-year IT roadmaps aligned with business strategy Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integration patterns, and architectural frameworks Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and other regulatory standards Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders Strategic thinker with a balance of technical depth and business acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern enterprise technologies Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
