Job Summary This role supports Canteen Commissary, a sector of Compass Group focused on food manufacturing and distribution. The key responsibilities include architecting sustainable solutions, maturing IT processes, and integrating third-party systems. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business leaders and enterprise architects to align solution architecture with enterprise strategy. Drive innovation within the Commissary team, shaping the technical direction to meet business needs. Understand and document functional requirements for manufacturing and distribution operations. Work with internal teams to improve processes, focusing on third-party integrations. Develop understanding of the commissary business model and its challenges. Recommend and lead technical modernization initiatives aligning with broader IT architecture, ensuring solutions are reliable, supportable, resilient, secure, and high-performing. Review code to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. Provide guidance to product owners and mentorship to developers, acting as a technical guide for Sage X3 platform. Assist technical teams with troubleshooting in Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Warehousing. Implement proper software development lifecycle practices. Mentor team members on testing and reporting practices. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years as a solution architect or similar role. Hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering. Familiarity with C#, NodeJS, and Python. Experience with Food/Beverage manufacturing. Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and APIs. Understanding of strategic IT solutions and methodologies. Experience with distribution solutioning. Knowledge of CI/CD practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred Skills and Training Experience with Sage X3 ERP, eCommerce, WMS. Extensive API and third-party integration experience. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and AWS Managed Services.
