Division Director

for the

Division of Trauma, Critical Care, Burns, and Emergency General Surgery . About MetroHealth: Academic

safety-net public hospital

and

flagship for trauma care

in Cleveland American College of Surgeons-verified Level I Adult Trauma Center

and

Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Works within the

Northeastern Ohio Trauma System (NOTS)

to optimize regional trauma care Position Overview: The new

Division Director

will lead and oversee: Clinical operations , ensuring excellence in trauma, emergency general surgery, burns, and critical care Education and training

for faculty, residents, Advanced Practice Providers, and medical students Research and academic initiatives , fostering growth and innovation in the field Strategic development , working with the Chair and institutional leadership to expand MetroHealths trauma presence regionally and nationally Division Highlights: 18 full-time faculty

supported by Advanced Practice Providers, residents, and medical students 12,000+ trauma activations annually , with

2,000+ trauma admissions

to the Level I center Partnerships with

three affiliated hospitals

to enhance trauma care across the region Candidate Requirements: Board certification

in

General Surgery

and

Surgical Critical Care Eligible for medical licensure

in the state of Ohio 7+ years of experience

post-training preferred Strong

clinical research background

and a

national presence

in the field Eligible for appointment at the

Associate or Full Professor level

at Case Western Reserve University Demonstrated
