Job Description INFRASTRUCTURE IT MANAGER
One of our global banking clients is seeking an Infrastructure IT Manager in their NYC HQ to support the Chief Technology Officer. The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in the financial or banking industry and have managed a company's infrastructure, providing technical expertise on production services and IT architecture. You will work globally with users and systems teams, and be responsible for infrastructure tools, applications, and end-user support. Experience with project planning and monitoring is essential. The infrastructure technology areas include Security, Storage, Network, Systems, and Databases. You will collaborate closely with the CIO to provide management control and support across all IT domains. You will partner with IT managers, business managers, and the IT Architecture group to drive strategic plans, such as
Data Strategy , and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption at the bank. Your responsibilities include providing general IT management across various domains, stepping in to oversee projects and operational activities as needed, assisting in portfolio planning and development, and participating in project oversight across all IT areas. You will lead IT-wide continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to IT architecture decisions and strategy development. Additional duties will be assigned by the CIO as required. REQUIREMENTS Strong understanding of core technology domains within the financial services industry. Strong analytical, business acumen, leadership, and communication skills.
