Job Description Fuel is seeking a Network Engineer responsible for designing technical solutions for complex problems. The role involves providing technical oversight, interpreting requirements, defining processes, and ensuring solutions adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and cost efficiency. The candidate will design IT infrastructure solutions including capacity planning, systems configuration, monitoring, backups, and hardware/software installation. Independence and flexibility to support IT Operations are essential. Skills and Experience 5+ years configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices Deep understanding of network routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IP MPLS) 5+ years experience with Cisco ASA/Next Generation Firewalls Experience with other hardware firewalls like Palo Alto, F5, Juniper Basic QoS knowledge Proficiency with network monitoring tools Ability to develop solutions from ambiguous requirements Collaborative skills with system, storage, and application teams Strong problem-solving and mentorship abilities Desired Knowledge/Skills Experience with IP multicast and QoS configurations Certifications in Juniper, Palo Alto, or Cisco Firewalls About Fuel Fuel Consulting LLC helps clients create their future with expertise, tools, and methodologies.
