The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer with the planning and daily execution of construction projects. Responsibilities include maintaining aspects of the project schedule, managing submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and in compliance with our Safety/Zero Harm culture.
Essential Functions
Preconstruction Services
Project Start-up and Scheduling
Project Administration, Coordination, and Close-out
Promote Customer Relations
Promote Culture, Leadership, and Employee Development
Bachelor of Science degree required
2+ years of commercial construction Project Engineer experience
Proficiency with personal computers and communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Experience
Construction Science, Management, Engineering, or Civil Engineering B.S. degrees preferred
Experience in Commercial Healthcare is a plus
Experience with RFI, Change Orders, Punch-list, and assisting with subcontractor meeting minutes
